High School Football Training

As per tradition each July, and to help answer some questions about our “Summer Sports Camp” programming that we deliver here at Fitness Quest 10, I share this “in the trenches” video of the entire 60-minute field work out me and my FQ10 team (1 coach and 4 interns) delivered at a nearby local field (Unfortunately the field at the local HS is being renovated so we we are using a local park. It works. :))
Here is what you will see in the video:
- Opening Huddle
- Dynamic Warm-Up
- “5” Specific SAQ/Conditioning Stations (each station is lead by an assigned coach, and rotation is every 3 mins) – 15-20 athletes per group per station
- Feedback Huddles
- Sprints
- Two-Hand touch football
- Focused Stretching
- Final Huddle
Note: (at the end) Coach Larry was also able to film a few segments with the Interns, Coach Tyler and myself sharing our general perspectives, thoughts and observations. At the very end, I got a little nostalgic being on the field and being the last one to leave. That’s always a good thing!
