The Secret to Success & Lead Like Jesus & Ask

As you know, READERS and LEADERS and LEADERS must be READERS. It’s August and it’s a GREAT month to read. Whether you are getting “mellow yellow” time this month, lounging beachside/lakeside/poolside this month, nothing better than reading a book or two…or even three. 🙂

I do believe READING is essential regardless of the month. As a matter of fact, while most people are in total “slow” mode this month, I would offer to you to not only get your “mellow yellow” but also to step on the accelerator and WORK on the things you NEED to and that you’ve been saying you’re GOING TO. Don’t let up—let’s GET BETTER this month!!!

#1 “The Secret to Success” by Eric Thomas
I have been following Eric “The Hip-Hop Preacher” Thomas (down in Atlanta) on social media for a while now and I have always resonated with him. He’s doing great things. E.T., the “hip-hop preacher”, became “famous” for his talk on you gotta want to be great as bad as you want to breathe.” As a matter of fact, it’s the sub-title to his new book. Now that’s powerful. If this speaks to you or you’re a fan of ET, go buy the book and read it! I’m looking forward to sinking my teeth into this one.

#2 “Lead Like Jesus” byKen Blanchard

As many of you know, I have been a Ken Blanchard fan for many years, his “One Minute Manager” is one of the best business books of all time. “Power of 10” Masterminder, Andrew Simpson gifted me Ken’s latest book and I am loving it. I’m ¾ of the way through it and it has a ton of strong leadership lessons. I highly recommend it if you want a book that mixes leadership and spiritual nourishment.

#3 “ASK” by Ryan Levesque

This book is a process book and states “the counter-intuitive online formula to discover exactly what your customers want to buy” … Let’s stop right there!! Anytime I can get an insight, approach or method to better attract and SERVE my clients and prospective clients I am ALL IN and ALL EARS! AND ALL READING! Coach Larry recommended this book to me and the Mastermind so I WILL read it.
